The dollar left would loot Hungarians again

A left-wing proposal to introduce a new source of revenue for the EU budget by taking away the extra tax on profits collected by Member States has failed in today’s plenary session of the European Parliament. The Fidesz delegation to the European Parliament finds it outrageous that when the Hungarian government introduced the extra profit tax, the dollar left attacked Hungary in Brussels for it, and now they wanted to take this tax revenue away from the Hungarian people and give it to Brussels. With this, the dollar left is again aiming to loot the Hungarian people. 

In order to cushion the negative effects of the war and record-high energy prices, and to protect lower utility prices, the Hungarian government introduced an extra profit tax. This was constantly criticised by the dollar left and even attacked in Brussels. Now the European left and the Hungarian dollar left wanted to introduce a new EU common tax that would take away the resources Hungary has gained by taxing extra profits. In this way, the dollar left’s aim is once again to loot the Hungarian people 

The Hungarian dollar left is constantly badgering the European Parliament to stop Hungary from getting the EU funds it is entitled to. MEPs on the dollar left see it as their patriotic duty to prevent EU funds from reaching Hungary. Now they have even turned a blind eye to the extra profit tax that protects lower utility prices and would rather have it paid into a common EU hat than make sure it protects the Hungarian people.
